1. July – August 2021

  • One step working with the Jane Goodall Institute with Hybrid MAST for Nsimbo and Tanganyika District Councils.

2. Oct 2020 – June 2021

  • Sporadic Adjudication of parcels for CCROs for 16 Villages, Mufindi District Council – Iringa, About 10,000 parcels with WWF – Care Alliance and PELUM Tanzania.
  • Managing Mobile system for handling CCROs
  • Design and Managing Mobile system for handling farms.

3. May 2017 – Sept 2019

  1. Company members worked under The Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development - Land Tenure Support Programme.
  2. Preparing Village projects for collecting data for CCROs at Malinyi, Kilombero and Ulanga ( About 240,000 CCROs prepared for more than 130 Villages)
  3. Involve in all procedures of collecting, processing and produce required outputs in CCRO – MIS and MAST
  4. Design and develop system for collecting and processing data for CCROs at Ngerengere.

Key Responsibilities recently handled by Company Members

l  Administer and worked with MAST (Mobile Application to Secure Tenure) Database at LTSP for managing all steps in Systematic Adjudication towards producing CCROs.

l  Supporting and assisting the development of Parcel Registration (Mfumo wa Hati za Hakimiliki za Kimila – MHAHAKI) for CCRO and Land Management system (LIMS) for Residential License.

l  Creating and handle several postgres Databases for storing Spatial and Non spatial data.

l  Using Geo-server and QGIS software to handle spatial data.

WORKING MODEL

       We have the best team comprises of Surveyors, GIS, ICT , Sociologists, Data Management and Processing, Quality Checking and M&E.

a)       Sensitization.

  • Conducting sensitization meetings up to the hamlet level where we can meet more people.
  • Elaboration on rights and responsibilities of each member of the society on all land issues.
  • Emphasize on gender equality on land ownership and its advantages.
  • Encourage the fully participation of special vulnerable groups like women, disabled and youths on all matters concerning land ownership.
  • Emphasize on fully participation on all decision making meetings on village level.
  • Explain the socioeconomic benefits as well as the importance of security of tenure on Land Regularization towards provision of Certificate of Customary Right of Occupancy.

b)      Capacity building.

  • Capacity building for all PLUM Team members of the council on land issues related with Customary Right of occupancy.
  • Train the use of Hybrid MAST system from creating projects, collecting data, processing data and prepare desirable outputs according to the law.
  • Build capacity on Spatial data processing for different purposes especially on land and related sectors such as water, agriculture and environmental conservation.
  • Special training to the Council IT, Surveyor and Town Planner officers on interaction with the system, accompanied software and data processing for sustainability of the ongoing activities.

c)       Training of Para-surveyors.

  • Para-surveyors are chosen from the youths of respective villages who have won of the interview.
  • The para-surveyors are trained to mobile devices for collecting data both spatial and non-spatial.
  • Training involves safety of the devices and approaches on customer care while collecting data.

 

d)      Material Gathering.

  • Spatial data - Village boundary, Land use data
  • Non spatial data – Village Land Certificate to check registration number, , Minutes of Village Council and Village Assembly Meetings, Names and Signature of Village Chairman, Village Executive Officer, Village Adjudication Committee members.
  • Printing materials, covers and receipts

 

e)       Team Working.

  • We work together as team-mates from field to the office until we finish well the job.

Technology

 

We use the improved Mobile that has the following advantages;

  • Can be used with or without satellite imagery.
  • Can be stored in the local servers.
  • We install everything by ourselves and we can improve some adjustments to meet user requirements.

Can be deployed in cheap mobile devices without altering the efficiency and quality of data collection.

It has been used to collect more data in the country and issue more than
